Kids love all the amenities at Villa Bellissima. Highlights include a heated jacuzzi, an outdoor Ping-Pong table, a playground near the vineyard, a paddock with various animals (peacocks, hens, ponies), goldfish & water lilly pond, swings, bocce ball court, outdoor chess set, stone firepit with seats perfect for roasting marshmallows, Texas BBQ and help-yourself vegetable and herb garden. There is a long shallow end of pool that is perfect for young kids and for adults to sunbathe while keeping cool.
Villa Molinazzo
Umbria, Sleeps 10 (+4)
Surrounded by rolling hills and olive groves, the property consists of two adjacent stone houses: the main house sleeps up to ten guests and a smaller guest house sleeps four. Outdoor spaces include an elegantly furnished “loggia” with comfortable couches and open views of the countryside, a second outdoor living room and a pergola furnished with table and chairs for fourteen people. A few steps from the house is a panoramic swimming pool, another furnished patio and tennis court.

It was used as the Bramasole because Frances Mayes’ Bramasole had already been renovated and the Hollywood crew needed a ruin. Villa Laura was built in 1504 and had been abandoned for some years before being completely renovated and transformed into a beautiful family-friendly estate.
