Villa Franconi, an elegant and enchanting 17th century villa, is surrounded by 135 acres of olive groves, woods and fields — with an extensive network of trails that is perfect for hiking and biking. It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest restaurant and the nearest village with services is 2 km down the road. This peaceful, rural setting is 4 miles from Lucca and ideally located for day trips to Florence, Pisa, the Cinque Terre and the beach.
The interior and exterior of the property was fully restored to the highest standards in 2012. Combining the elegance and charm of a country villas and the appeal of modern amenities. The terracotta floors, beamed-white ceilings, spacious air-conditioned bedrooms and modern bathrooms creating a light, airy feeling throughout the villa. Beautiful fully equipped kitchen with eat-in table for eight. Kitchen appliances include a stove, large oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, espresso maker and slicer. The kitchen opens to a covered courtyard with a fountain, large table for al fresco dining and a BBQ.
Bedroom #1 with separable king bed, en suite bathroom with shower. This room has direct access to the garden or the hall.
Laundry with washing machine and dryer for guests and staff use.

THE GROUNDS
Pool 12x6 meters (40x20 ft). Parents with young children should be aware that the pool is not fenced but it is not dangerously close to the villa.

$2,000 payable by check to Doorways, returned a month after your trip minus any damages or unpaid fees.
€500 collected in Italy.
