Villa Mahonia, located in Laglio near George Clooney’s residence, is an historic 19th century villa with impeccable attention to detail. The owner, an Italian fashion designer, carefully renovated the villa, transforming it into a modern home with all the conveniences and comforts for guests to enjoy a vacation with family and friends.
The villa is lakefront with a private dock and access to Lake Como. Its beautiful and stylish interior comprises three floors furnished with a designer’s eye. Italian artists are featured throughout, including the work of Fornasetti, Gae Aulenti, and Castelli Minetti. All bedrooms have A/C and WiFi. There is a new pool that can be heated on request. The villa location is ideal for exploring Lake Como by either boat or car. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Como is easily reached as is Cernobbio, with its famous Villa d’ Este hotel. Every corner of Lake Como has much to offer, with historic sites, charming villages and mountain trails.

Fornasetti bedroom, queen bed (180 x 200 cm) with memory foam mattress that can be separated into two twin beds, A/C, and bathroom with wonderful marble basin, and a large Jacuzzi shower with Chromotherapy.
All beds have memory foam mattresses.
LOWER LEVEL
Family room with plasma satellite TV, SKY TV, DVD, stereo. A comfortable space to watch a movie, listen to music or play billiards while gazing at the garden below. A sofa bed is available upon request.

From the lower level, a long stairway leads to an intimate lakeshore garden with chairs and sun beds. The garden is shadowed by a century old Lebanon Cedar and a Fragrant Olive tree (olea fragrans) which perfumes the air with its white flowers.

Infinity pool (8 x 3.70 x 1.40 m) with Jacuzzi, can be heated on request at extra cost to guests.
