Located in the hills just west of Florence, Villa Bel Raccolto is on a wine estate. Dating from the 13th century, it was once used as a convent. Bel Raccolto has been lovingly restored and beautifully furnished with careful attention to every detail. This luxury farmhouse is located in a small village near Carmignano, famous for two Medici villas that are national monuments. This is a central location for touring Tuscany and Florence. This is a great place for families with kids because of the different places to gather, pool table, swimming pool, home theater and piano.
Shops and a bus stop are located within a mile of Villa Bel Raccolto and there are excellent restaurants nearby. The closest train station is in Prato (15 km). Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca are within easy daytrip distance. An 18-hole golf course is just five minutes’ drive, and the chic beach resorts of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio can be reached in an hour.

SECOND FLOOR
Seven en suite, air-conditioned bedrooms furnished with antiques and outfitted with satellite flat-screened TVs. Four are master bedrooms (queen beds) and three have two twin beds. One of the twin rooms is best for children, as it is smaller than the others.
Seven modern bathrooms with showers en suite to all the bedrooms. One of the bathrooms also has a tub.
The largest master bedroom is sunken, with a ceiling two stories high, exposed stone wall and views. Its bathroom is up one flight.
