The Coccolo Apartment is located on the Cannaregio Canal, the second largest canal in central Venice, which links the lagoon with the Grand Canal. This is a lively, interesting area where you can become, for a short time, a local - un veneziano - as you shop in the open air markets, food stores and reasonable clothing shops, away from the ususal tourist trade.

Here it is easy to explore Venice on foot and by vaporetto (Venetian water bus). The stop for boats to the islands of Morano, Burano, Torcello and S. Michele is in one direction and the train station is nearby in the other direction, making transportation easy if you purchase a vaporetto pass at the railway station. If you like to walk and enjoy the adventure of finding your way through a maze with a map, you are only fifteen minutes on foot from Rialto and San Marco. And what fun you will have along the way!

The Coccolo Apartment is an attractive second floor apartment with a view of the Cannaregio Canal. The double bedroom can be made up as two twin beds or one double. Two single sofa beds in the living room accommodate additional guests. There is a cheerful, efficient kitchen and a bathroom with shower.
