Villa Cavaliere is located on a hill in a residential area just outside of Siena, surrounded by ancient olive trees, with a romantic garden of roses and lemon trees. There is a large terrace furnished furnished for al fresco dining that has nice views of Siena. A walk downhill and uphill again (3 km/1.8 mi) brings you to the historical center of Siena.

The medieval city of Siena is famous for its shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, and for one of the world's most breathtaking folk festivals, Il Palio. The historic city center is one of Unesco's World Heritage Sites. Siena is a central point for exploring Tuscany — Florence, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Volterra, and the beaches of the Maremma are all within an hour's drive. You can visit Etruscan sites or meander through the Chianti Hills and stop at one of the famous wineries. Savor wonderful Tuscan cuisine at a nearby restaurant; or shop locally for fresh produce and prepare meals at home, in your own kitchen. On the grounds are lovely gardens and a swimming pool (5 x 6 meters). A little private chapel next to the villa can be used for wedding ceremonies. Covered parking is within the fenced property. A house next door is currently being renovated to be a B&B, so guests in the villa will be able to see the scaffolding.

This 17th-century manor house has been partially restored and is comfortable for large families or groups of friends. Furnishings are a blend of antiques and modern pieces. Some of the villa has been completely refreshed, while other parts are much as they have been for centuries. For instance, the kitchen is relatively new and nice to cook in while floors are old fashioned red, white and gray tiles. If you want an anthentic Italian villa with plenty of space, this can be comfortable. If you are looking for modern convience and the latest decor, you will find this villa to be old fashioned.
