This lovely, large studio is located on the ground floor of a 15th-century building in the center of Cortona, the Etruscan town made famous in “Under the Tuscan Sun.”  The apartment was once part of a medieval monastery and you can still admire some of its authentic features, such as a beautiful old well. The apartment has been restored to maintain its typical Tuscan style, using high quality materials – cotto tiles, wood beams, and a handsome kitchenette made of chestnut wood and marble. Windows are double-glazed to ensure quiet and are outfitted with screens. The ideal location affords an opportunity to live in a peaceful area just 300 meters from the main square, with easy parking.

Cortona has many artistic treasures and local traditions, including a fascinating Etruscan Museum, and is strategically located between Florence and Perugia, with easy access to all of Tuscany and Umbria. Visit Siena, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Pienza, Arezzo, Perugia and Assisi; all of Tuscany and Umbria is within easy daytrip distance.
