Casale Ornella is a recently restored country house set on top of a hill in the Maremma region on the southwest coast of Tuscany. The villa is located on a property of 18 hectares, with a swimming pool and a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside with the sea in the distance. Casale Ornella is surrounded by green hills filled with pastures, vineyards and olive groves.

This area is highly renowned for its red wine, Morellino, which was granted DOCG status in 2007 (the highest level of appellation in the Italian system, reserved for products made with the most outstanding standards). The well-known coastal village of Scansano is less than ten minutes away, with wine cellars and shops that are always open for tastings, as well as many excellent restaurants. Located just 18 kilometers from Grosseto, Casale Ornella is the ideal place to enjoy the natural beauty and unspoiled beaches of the Maremma as well as the trendy harbour of Puntala. Rome, Florence, Pisa and Siena are all within reach. The Natural Uccellina Park and Marine Argentario Park are just thirty minutes away.

Casale Ornella was totally renovated in 2007. The property is located between Scansano and the Argentario coast — a perfect compromise for guests who are looking for a peaceful countryside environment with easy access to the seaside — and is accessed by way of an unpaved road (about 400 meters). Its hilltop position allows an open, panoramic view over the rolling hills, with a view of the seaside beyond.

The stylish and inviting interior spaces are decorated with beautiful antiques and typical Tuscan-style furniture. There is a large patio for relaxing, and a swimming pool (10 x 4 meters) is set 50 meters from the villa and is not fenced.

Casale Ornella is 330 square meters and is built on two floors.

Ground floor:

• 1 master bedroom, en suite bathroom with shower; easily accessible for guests with walking difficulties (bathroom is 320 x 210 with a shower of 95 x 90)

Second floor:

• 4 double bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms has an additional bed. Bathroom sizes: 2 bathrooms are 190x190 with shower of 70x70m; 1 bathroom is 230x 150 with shower 70x70, the fourth bathroom is 320x150 with shower 100x75
