Located in the hills surrounding Florence, Villa Bel Raccolto dates back to the 13th century. Once used as a convent, Bel Raccolto has been lovingly restored and beautifully furnished with careful attention to detail. This luxury farmhouse is located in a small village near Carmignano, famous for two Medicean villas that are national monuments. This is a highly desirable area for touring Tuscany because of its central location and proximity to Florence (23 km; 45 minutes).

Shops and a bus stop are located within a mile of Villa Bel Raccolto, and there is an excellent restaurant within walking distance that was once the home of Leonardo da Vinci's grandmother. The closest train station is in Prato (15 km). Pisa, Siena, Lucca, and Pistoia are within easy daytrip distance. An 18-hole golf course is just five minutes’ drive, and the chic beach resorts of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio can be reached in an hour.
