The Della Spada is a nicely furnished third-floor apartment located just a few meters from Florence's most famous fashionable shopping street, Via dei Tournabuoni. The train station and Il Duomo are each five minutes' walk. Here you are in the heart of Florence, near shops, museums, and restaurants, but in a fourteenth-century building with high ceilings and thick walls to provide some protection from noise. Fortunately, this lovely apartment also has a portable air conditioner, so you can close the windows at night in the summer.

A small foyer leads to a modern kitchen with a table for four and a bedroom/sitting room with joinable twin beds. The tiled bathroom has a very large tub with hand-held shower. The apartment is outfitted with a TV and telephone and has wireless Internet access.
