Villa Il Chianti is a 150-year old, beautifully restored traditional stone farmhouse located halfway between Florence and Siena, just over one mile from desirable Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. Villa Il Chianti's main villa and separate apartment are perfect examples of Tuscan style with their brick archways, beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and large fireplaces. While restorations respect the farmhouse's' Tuscan architecture, they also allow for modern luxuries including air conditioning, wireless Internet access, Jacuzzis and spa center.

The villa's infinity pool with hydromassage tub (not heated) and beautifully landscaped grounds are surrounded by the olive groves, vineyards and spectacular views that have made Chianti famous. There are several different dining areas and furnished patios where one can comfortably relax and enjoy the exquisite scenery. The property is rented to a single party at a time but can accommodate different size groups and is priced accordingly. There is a separate cottage with dining room and kitchen large enough to serve 30 guests.

On-site concierge services are available at the office, which has a separate entrance and which is staffed during the week except Sunday. Guests can arrange any meal (book in advance), cooking classes, dinner reservations, massages, yoga lessons, reflexology treatments, bicycle rentals, and directions to the nearby tennis courts and local day trip possibilities. The main farmhouse is beautifully divided into suites for maximum privacy and comfort for large groups wishing to share but also have privacy. For smaller groups, the separate cottage can be closed off at a reduced rate.
