	Villa Fiorentina is situated on three acres of idyllic grounds, surrounded by olive and fruit trees, with a stunning view over the rolling hills. The property is landscaped with flowers and herbs.Located is seven miles east of Florence, Villa Fiorentina is an ideal base for visitors who desire the best of both city and country. You can take a train or city bus into the historic center of Florence in just 20 minutes. A 10-minute drive brings you to the A-1 highway putting all of Tuscany within easy daytrip distance. Villa Fiorentina is located 4 km from a small village with a supermarket, bakery, ATM, and coffee bar. Tennis and golf are available nearby, and a variety of restaurants are within 10-20 minutes' drive of the villa. The villa has been restored with attention to custom detail in an international, eclectic style while maintaining the integrity of the Tuscan aesthetic. The interior decoration combines antiques with modern sofas and other contemporary furniture. The exterior furniture is custom designed as well. Ground floor (sleeps 4 in air conditioned bedrooms): Entrance Guest bathroom with shower Large queen-bedded master suite with bedroom with large window/doors opening onto the terrace and ensuite bathroom with double sink, large shower with seat, separate bathtub 1 twin-bedded (beds can be joined to make a queen) with en suite bathroom with shower Laundry area for staff with washer, dryer, iron Second floor (sleeps 4 in air conditioned bedrooms): A spacious living/dining room (15 x 30 ft), with marvelous large windows on three sides and a working Tuscan fireplace The inlaid wood dining table comfortably seats fourteen. The modern kitchen is outfitted with a microwave, espresso machine, fridge, dishwasher, large double sink, marble countertops, and fine china and table linens. Library 1 large queen-bedded room with en suite bathroom with large shower, double sink and ample closets. 1 twin-bedded (can be made to a king bed) bedroom with adjacent bathroom wiht Jacuzzi bup and extra washer for the use of the guests Off the kitchen is a marvelous pergola furnished for dining outdoor dining. Ammenities include hairdryers, bathrobes, toiletries, heated towel racks, remote controlled ceiling fans and central heating, screens on most windows, satellite TV, phone, fax, WIFI, CD and DVD players and a very complete and informative villa book. The housekeeper will assist with laundry, including drying, at no extra cost (except ironing). There are three terraces on the property. The first, at the entrance to the house, has a sitting area and spectacular panoramic view. The second is a large pergola in the upper gardens with a sitting and dining area equipped with a Tuscan BBQ and marble counter with sink. The third is adjacent to the pool with a sitting area as well as a covered outdoor dining area. Rosemary, basil, sage, thyme, and arugula are seasonally available for the use of the guests. Another family (an Italian family) owns part of this property, but they are seldom there (and if they should be, the plantings and walls are located to afford privacy for everyone). The swimming pool, terraces and gardens are all private for guests of Villa Fiorentina. The villa is rented with a staff of three. The housekeeper and her assistants provide cleaning daily except Sunday. Villa Fiorentina is strictly a non-smoking property.
