This adorable little pied-à-terre is located in Sicily's most famous tourist resort. Taormina sits high on a hill, overlooking one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. On the ground floor is the daytime living area, with a fully outfitted kitchen corner (with dishwasher), a table and chairs, TV, single sofabed (a tight squeeze, but works for one child), and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs is the bedroom, with a cute little balcony overlooking the village, and a colorful bathroom with claw-foot tub. A central stereo system allows you to enjoy music throughout the house and a well-organized guest book provides information for everything from emergency contacts to recommendations for dining and sightseeing.

Venture into the countryside by day to explore Sicily, or relax in the sun at a sidewalk café and spend your afternoon sipping cappuccino and people-watching.
