The Brunetti apartment is extremely well located; a two-minute walk brings you to the Piazza del Popolo, famous for its ancient Egyptian obelisk and and its churches. From here, the Via del Corso leads straight through the heart of Rome to the Piazza Venezia. This is an ideal starting point for excursions throughout the city; the metro stops just off the square at Flaminia.
The Spanish Steps are 10 minutes away on foot; the
Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona are 15 minutes. The immediate
area abounds in good restaurants and shops selling books, candles,
tin soldiers, groceries, wine, hardware and fine clothing. It
is Rome at its best and most authentic.
This apartment was recently renovated to a very high
