Emilia-Romagna is home to many exceptional Renaissance palaces,
as well as some of Italy's best cuisine. Lasagna, tortellini, Parmesan cheese,
and balsamic vinegar are just a few of many examples of the region's rich culinary
tradition. Visit Faenza, famous for ceramics, just 30 km away. Brisighella, with
its annual medieval festival, is even closer. Tour a local producer of Parmigiano
Reggiano or prosciutto in Parma. See some of the world's most incredible mosaics
in Ravenna (50 km) or explore the city of Bologna (75 km). Florence is nearly
as close. Located near the border between Emilia-Romagna
and Tuscany, Casa Cristiana stands on a bluff overlooking the Lutirano valley.
This classic country house is located just 5 km from the charming village of Tredozio,
which has many inviting restaurants to sample, including the Mulino di San Michele,
located in an old mill. A 10-minute drive brings you to the village center, where
you will find grocery shops, bakery, coffee bar, and bus station. Casa
Cristiana is a converted farmhouse, built on two levels, with glorious views from
every room. The ground floor includes an entrance with dining area, a spacious
living room with a fireplace and French doors leading to the garden, and a fully
equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave.
There is also one double bedroom and a bathroom with shower located on this level.
A spiral staircase leads to the lower level, where there
are two twin bedrooms (with joinable beds). One has an en suite bathroom with
shower. There is another bathroom (with tub) for guests of the second bedroom.
Both bedrooms have direct access to the garden. There is
also a utility room with a washing machine, and an outdoor pizza oven. Satellite
TV is provided, and a cell phone is available for guests' use. Casa Cristiana
is located on the same estate as Villa
Emilia and Vista della
Valle. The three properties can be rented together for groups of
up to 38 guests. |
