	Villa Volare is one of the most exclusive villas in one of the most renowned settings in the world. Surrounded by flowers and greenery and elegantly furnished, it has private sea access and offers incredible views of Positano (1 km), the coastline and the Mediterranean. All of the delights of the Amalfi Coast are nearby, including Salerno, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Hydrofoils and boats travel to the romantic Isles of Capri and Ischia, and if you are interested in archaeology, you won't want to miss the ancient sites of Pompeii, Paestum and Herculeum. Within walking distance of Positano, the villa gate can be reached from the main road via a private staircase (190 steps) or a small pathway with 30 steps. It can also be reached by boat. The spectacular walk from the villa down 246 steps to the private landing area offers different levels providing different activities — lawn, ping-pong table, and sunbathing deck (80 sq. meters) with shaded pergola, lounge chairs, refrigerator, shower, and finally, the landing stage. The sunbathing deck is connected to the villa by intercom. The area offers a wonderful selection of restaurants, including the five-star San Pietro Hotel restaurant, which is within walking distance. There is parking on the road, but it is not necessary to rent a car here. In fact, we do not recommend driving here during high season. There is a bus stop at the top of the stairs, and a private car service for day trips. You can reserve a boat for excursions (or water skiing). Villa Volare has a lovely courtyard filled with tropical greenery. Downstairs is a huge wraparound terrace, bedecked with flowers and offering panoramic vistas to the Isle of Capri in the distance. The terrace is furnished with comfortable wicker couches and pillows for relaxing under the pergola. One wing, shaded with lemon trees, is the perfect spot for lunch in the shade or dinner by candlelilght.
