Casa Mimosa, a 17th-century villa, has been renovated with care and tastefully decorated. It perches in a peaceful, quiet spot, yet is centrally located in Positano. Two pleasant apartments share the ground floor, about 54 steps down from the road. The owner occasionally resides on the upper level on weekends.

Each of the two apartments is independent and private, but they are very close to each other so they can be rented together as a single accommodation. One of the great advantages of this location is that a car is not required. The apartments are just a five-minute walk (uphill) from the celebrated boutiques and chic restaurants of Positano. Fifteen minutes' walk downhill leads to the main beach, the Spiaggia Grande.

A local bus stop is located on the road just above the house. A walk to the top of the village will bring you to the bus to Sorrento (1 hr) or Amalfi (1 hr). Car service can be ordered in advance or arranged on site. We don't recommend having a car here during high season, but parking is available in a nearby garage for 18-20 Euro per day. Ferry and hydrofoil service is available from Positano to Capri (50 min.), Naples (50 min.), Amalfi (30 min.) and Salerno (30 min.). The nearest airports are Naples (60 Km or 1.5 hours) and Rome (267 Km or 3 hours).
