Casa Meridiana is a lakefront property located just ten kilometers north of Menaggio on the northwest shore of Lake Como. A large terrace offers breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding mountains, and an in-ground swimming pool (which can be heated) was recently completed. Boating, sailing, windsurfing, hiking, golfing, and horseback riding are available in the area. Bellagio, known as the “pearl of the lake,” and Varenna are just 15 minutes away by car or ferry. Villa Carlotta, one of the most beautiful villas on the Lake with its botanic gardens and art treasures, is 20 minutes away in Tremezzo. You can be in the center of Milan in 90 minutes, and Como and Lugano are an hour away. Factory outlet shops (Armani, Ferragamo, Versace, Etro, Guggi and Foxtown (just over the border into Switzerland) are within 10-30 minutes of Como.

Casa Meridiana is located right on the lakeshore, just a few meters from the public beach (there are no private beaches in Italy). A village with shops and restaurants is just 600 meters (0.37 mi.) from the property. A public pedestrian path runs along the shore between the lake and the property. This spacious, brightly decorated villa is ideal for large family groups.

Ground floor:

• 1 air-conditioned small twin bedroom, with small bathroom (shower)

A museum of ancient lake boats and a small boat yard are located behind the villa. The museum features hundreds of boats that played a part in the nautical history of Lake Como from the 19th century to the present but it is not a highly visited museum.
