Casa Luisa is set directly on the waterfront of Laveno, a lively resort town on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore. The property has direct access to the lake and a 150-meter private beach (Please note that by Italian law, private beaches can be accessed by boats from the lake), as well as a swimming pool. Located at the end of a dead-end lane, the location is very quiet, with a beautiful view and only 15 minutes’ walk from the center of town.

The villa, built in 1930, is spacious and interiors are Italian classic style, with marble tables and decorated wall papers. Most of the furniture was designed and built especially for the villa. Most rooms overlook the lake, and the ground-floor rooms have direct access to the terrace and gardens.

Casa Luisa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with mature trees and an expansive lawn. A path of 150 stone steps leads down to the lake and the rocky beach. The path is fairly steep and could be problematic for guests with walking difficulties. There is a large swimming pool (6 x 14 meters) with a diving board and a bathroom with shower. The private beach has a boathouse, and there are footpaths for strolling and enjoying the view.

A small dependence, at the entrance to the property can be rented separately. Guests renting the Luisa Dependence do not have access to the pool, the beach, or the main part of the garden unless the whole estate is rented by the same group.

Laveno is a small tourist town with shopping and restaurants. From here, you can take a ferry across the lake (Stresa, Pallanza, etc.) and to the Borromeo Islands. It is also possible to reach Milan by train in less than an hour. All sorts of water sports are available, as well as cycling, horseback riding and golf.

Casa Luisa is built on three floors. The furnishings on the top floor are quite simple.

Ground floor:

Third floor (stairs are very narrow – 60 cm)

• 1 double bedroom
• 1 bedroom with French bed (larger than a twin, smaller than a double)
• 2 bathrooms with shower

Amenities: portable fans in each bedroom, WIFI Internet connection, TV (local channels), VCR, Stereo/CD player, BBQ, ping-pong table, telephone (local calls only)

No more than 10 guests are permitted; however, upon request and only with the approval of the owner, two more guests can be accepted at additional cost.
