Casa Arona is a lovely home in a private, peaceful lakefront setting. This is a great choice for guests who want to be able to walk to a village. The house is located in the center of Meina, just a few meters from a good restaurant, gourmet food shop, pharmacy, post office and other small village shops.

Tours in the area include Stresa, the Borromeo and Brissago Islands, Arona, Villa Taranto (botanical gardens), and the Cannero Riviera. A 10-minute drive brings you to the ferry at Arona. In Stresa (10 minutes) is the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées, where you can find a beauty and fitness center. Many fabulous restaurants are located in the area as well as cafés and shops. Sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, tennis and swimming pool are available nearby. Val Grande National Park is km 30 away.

As with all houses that are located in town, the sound of people and traffic are sometimes heard. The lake road is located behind the house; once you enter the beautiful garden, you feel you are in a peaceful spot. Only one room (the room with the sofabed) has windows that face the road. The master bedroom, the twin bedroom and the living room face the private garden and the lake.

There is no private parking, but a public parking area is located just a few meters from the villa. Casa Arona sleeps six guests; a seventh person can sleep in a folding bed, but this is available only on request and by agreement with the owner. There will be a charge for the use of this bed.

• Spacious living room with decorative fireplace (not working) and direct access to the patio

• Small bathroom with WC and slipper tub with shower
• Large patio with BBQ

Second floor (21 steps):

• 1 master bedroom (large queen 170 x 190 cm) with lake view, window screens
• 1 double room (twin beds 85 x 90 cm) with lake view and window screens; en suite small bathroom with shower (6 steps)
• 1 bedroom with double sofabed (very comfortable) plus extra folding bed available on request; large bathroom with tub and separate shower. This is the only bedroom that faces the road.

• Fenced garden
• Patio with BBQ, furnished for "al fresco" dining
• Direct access to the lake
