Nestled at the foot of the Luberon, in the heart of Provence, Les Taillades is a medieval village that has maintained its charm. Once an important stone quarrying center (the old quarries have been converted into an open-air theater), Les Taillades offers wonderful walking and hiking, as well as fishing, horseback riding, golf, and tennis. Many of France's most beautiful villages are within reach. Visit destinations like Ménerbes, Lacoste, Goult, Bonnieux, and Roussillon. Aix-en-Provence is just 30 minutes south. Or shop at the famous open-air antiques market of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (10 min. north). On days when you do not wish to drive, travel by TGV train from Avignon, just 20 minutes away. You can be in Paris in less than three hours. Twenty kilometers from Avignon is La Volière, an estate surrounded by two hectares of green, tree-filled grounds. The property has been completely renovated; the décor is inspired by typically Provençal traditions, utilizing stone, wrought iron, and beamed ceilings. Partially shaded terraces open onto unobstructed views of the countryside. The house is divided into two
adjoining (but not connecting) houses, each with its own private terrace and kitchen. The living room is well-furnished,
