| The medieval village of Gordes is justly counted among the most beautiful villages in France. This guest cottage is located right in the tiny hamlet of Les Imberts, just south of Gordes. Located within a very private fenced property is the owner's house along with this charming guest cottage that is ideal for one couple. All on one floor, it is ideal for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.
Inside you will find a large and spacious living/dining room with table and chairs, comfortable seating and satellite TV. At one end of the room is an open kitchen, fully equipped with double sink, stovetop, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher.
The lovely bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a bathroom with large shower, double sink and separate toilet room. In addition, there is a washer and dryer.
In front of the cottage is a nice-sized terrace for al fresco dining and a driveway with parking. Beyond is a lawn surrounded by a large hedge. There is no swimming pool.
The owners are especially warm and welcoming. They are happy to enhance your stay if requested to do so, but will leave you to you your privacy if you prefer.
We can picture a retired couple enjoying this guest cottage for a long or a short stay, but it is equally romantic and desirable for a honeymoon.
The closest village, Coustellet, is three kilometers away, and there is a train station (TGV) in Avignon.
Spend your days wandering the arcaded lanes of Gordes or exploring the wonderful art museum in the Chateau de Gordes. Gordes is also renowned for its fascinating village of borie— nomadic stone dwellings believed to date from 3,500 B.C. Nearby, in a secluded valley, the 12th century Abbaye de Sénanque seems to float on a sea of lavender. Apt and Avignon are within easy driving distance, and nature lovers will enjoy the Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon.
