	History comes to life in Provence, where the weather is said to be the best in France. Visit ancient castles and explore villages whose roots go back thousands of years. See the landscapes that inspired Van Gogh and Cézanne. Set in a quiet countryside location, this tastefully restored manor house is built around a beautiful garden courtyard that is surrounded by vineyards and fields of sunflowers. This stylish, luxurious home retains many of its original features but has been renovated to a high level of comfort, convenience and beauty. A small village is within 10-15 minute walk (1 km) and has a bakery and post office. More extensive shopping and services can be found in the delightful, picturesque town of Uzès (5 km), where you will find lovely shops and restaurants, and a wonderful market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Camarque and its beaches are less than an hour away. Avignon (35 km), Nîmes (40 km), the famous antiques market at Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (80 km), and Arles (74 km) are within easy driving distance. A nine-hole golf course can be found in Uzès, and two 18-hole courses are located near Nîmes. Canoeing, whitewater rafting and horseback riding are available nearby. Wine tastings, pottery tours and tours of the famous Roman ruins in the immediate area can also be arranged. The arcaded courtyard and multiple patios and terraces present many delightful areas for outdoor dining. A formal rose garden in the central courtyard leads to a beautiful swimming pool (16 x 5 meters), with a Jacuzzi and beautiful views. A boules court is tucked into the garden. Four bikes are available for guests to use.
