Paris is a many-faceted gem, radiant and mysterious. As one strolls the city's
streets the image changes: from a fount of artistic endeavor to a bastion of intellectual
pursuit; from a center of commercial exchange to a guardian of the grandest history.
Paris is all of these and more. A guest at Le Nôtre Apartment will know Paris
first by the majesty of the 16th arrondissement.
The apartment is
perfectly placed near the Avenue de New York, which borders the Seine on the Right
Bank. Here the Palais de Chaillot sits grandly, welcoming visitors to its theatre,
cinema, restaurant and four museums, or to a leisurely afternoon in the adjacent
Jardins de Trocadéro. From Chaillot, cross the river to the Tour Eiffel and the
attractions of the 7th arrondissement; venture westward into the marvelous park,
the Bois de Bologne; or head northward to discover the Arc de Triomphe in its
appointed place at the head of the Champs Elysées. If you are inclined to shop,
you can shop your way right down the Champs to the cultural wonderland of the
8th arrondissement. Eventually, sleep will be necessary, and the comfort of Le
Nôtre awaits. Tomorrow can be rediscovered in a different light.
Le Nôtre's traditional style interiors reflect the "monumental" flavor
of the neighborhood, but the furnishings are simple, modern and comfortable. On
the 5th floor (6th fl. American) of a building with elevator and garage parking
for one car, the apartment sleeps seven people in four bedrooms; there is a matrimonial,
two twins bedrooms and a single.
Two more can be accommodated on
sofa beds in one of the two living rooms. This large apartment a den, a dining
room and a full modern kitchen, an office and three bathrooms-one with tub and
two with showers. Balconies from one of the bedrooms and one of the living rooms
face the Avenue de New York and the Seine, and allow exceptional views of the
Tour Eiffel and the Jardins de Trocadéro. The other living room has a side balcony
and a working fireplace. A piano is available. Amenities include telephone, satellite TV, washer & dryer and wireless internet access. |
