This three-story, turn-of-the-century villa is situated on a hillside
overlooking the Mediterranean. Located at the foot of the charming village of Roquebrune, the house is accessed by a set of stairs just across the road from the villa gate. Roquebrune offers stunning views of the coastline and its winding alleys lead to several good restaurants, including a local pizzaria with casual dining, a Corsican restaurant and several offering provencal cuisine. There is a beautiful church and the remains of the Carolingian Château, said to be one of the oldest in France. A local hotel, Les Deux Frères, has a wonderful restaurant with terrace dining.
Les Terrasses is five minutes from the beaches
of Roquebrune, Menton and Monaco, with private bathing facilities, lounge
chairs, umbrellas and lunch as well as free bathing on the public beaches. (All of the
beaches are quite pebbly, but those in Monaco at Les Contamines have the best sand.)
St Tropez and the famous Pampelonne Beach is a two hour drive, but worth visiting for its glorious sandy bay, chic boutiques and restaurants, and some of the world's best people-watching along the harbor. Menton is in the direction of Italy, and the picturesque harbors of
Beaulieu, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat and Villefranche are in the direction of Nice. Explore the lovely perched villages of St Agnès, La Turbie and Eze, to name a
few. Eze has spectacular views and some of the finest restaurants of the Côte
D'Azur — a Chèvre D'Or and Château Eza.
The house is named for its spectacular terrace, an outdoor living area where you will likely spend most of your time. A large dining table and umbrella, plus two smaller tables and chairs, and a cane sofa for relaxing under the cypress tree provide lovely places for dining, reading or just enjoying the beautiful view.
Les Terrasses is spacious and comfortable without being fancy or pretentious. The house is entered from street level on the top floor, where the bedrooms are located.

- Lovely double living/dining room with fireplace and French doors opening onto the terrace
