The location of this spacious apartment is unbeatable — right in the heart of Villefranche, one of the Côte d’Azur's most charming and authentic villages. Tucked into the Bay of Villefranche, minutes from Nice and Monaco, this picturesque French fishing village has a friendly, fascinating culture of its own, attracting an international community that includes students attending the renowned language school located there.

Le Bijou overlooks the port, Cap Ferrat, and the sea. Everything is within easy walking distance — grocery shops, cafés and restaurants, bakeries, even a train station. Five windows in front and six in back take advantage of the view, and the apartment has two balconies, one of which is furnished with table and chairs.

Originally three separate apartments, Le Bijou is quite possibly the largest apartment in the Old Town. It was recently renovated to a very high standard of comfort and beauty. Ceilings are high, floors are oak, colors are monochromatic and soothing, and the furniture is French Provencale style. Bathrooms are pink Portugese marble, with walk-in showers.

From the port side, Le Bijou is a second-floor apartment; but the entrance from the street is on ground level. There are no stairs, so the apartment is suitable even for guests with walking difficulties.

A car is not necessary in Villefranche (you can daytrip by train or rent a car locally for a day or two, if you like); however, if you do have a car, there is public parking 120 yards away (€ 8 per day), and free parking in the lot at the old Citadel, 300 yards away.
